Following a June that saw the best sales rate since 2007, sales reporting from July shows that consumer demand for new vehicles has remained strong through the summer. Chrysler, Ford and Honda reported their best July since 2006, while Nissan and Hyundai-Kia posted their best July ever. With the top seven automakers reporting, sales are up 13.6%. The average vehicle sale price, $32,676, is also up $493 year-over-year, with rising MRSPs being offset by dealer and OEM incentives.
